Ellie went over the speed limit!

This is Ellie and honestly I was so scared of the zip line. When we stepped up to get on the first line, I wanted to back out so bad and I was so worried. But I decided to go and it was the most amazing thing I've ever done in my entire life!! I was so happy and when I got off the first one I was just laughing and smiling and I would definitely do it again.

Ziplining was great, now we are ready for lunch!

What a great couple of days we had! All the kids are happy and in a great spirit.

La Guaria School Visit

Hello a little update

Yesterday we spend the whole day at the village. We worked on the community service, played soccer, learned to make tortillas, learned Salsa, had a great party and we all enjoyed dancing a lot. 

Amazing kids, we are off to visit the local school and then White Water Rafting.

Welcome to the 2016 Ridgefield Costa Rican Adventure blog!

It will be another great year as we travel
around beautiful Costa Rica with the Roth family and the kids from Ridgefield.

As usually the expert naturalist will be Diego Quesada teaching all the kids about the many wonders of the tropical rainforest and myself Tom Ranieri getting the kids excited about the benefits of getting outdoors!

Along with our love for nature this trip will also be focusing on helping others. We have some great stops included on this trip that will make the Ridgefield visit on Costa Rica one with a very positive impact.
